Stop Patching It. Fix It.

My name is Charli Hamilton and I’m the owner and sole practitioner of Little Tahoma in East Sacramento. I’m a certified Fascial Counterstrain practitioner. This is a pain-free manual therapy that pinpoints problem areas, resolves underlying dysfunctions and fine-tunes your body to optimize blood flow, nerve function, and muscle health. Fascial Counterstrain is an amazing way to reduce acute and chronic pain, aid recovery from injuries and surgery, and increase your range of motion. By identifying and relieving the root causes keeping you in pain, I can help you live a more active and fulfilling life.

I also offer personalized Mobility Training and Core + Breath programs to build on the gains made with Fascial Counterstrain. These sessions are a great way to build strength, flexibility and control across your body, and are applicable for athletes, gym rats, desk jockeys or anyone looking to build a solid foundation for a healthy, pain-free life.

Whether you’re trying to advance your sport, reduce that nagging back pain or simply move through life with greater ease, I can help you get there.

  • Treatment frequency will depend on your specific injuries, needs and goals. I see most people 3-4 times over a 2 week initial period. After that, you can schedule appointments based on how your body has responded to treatment.

Many people find it helpful to come in for regular maintenance tune-ups and often add additional sessions when preparing for certain athletic events, extended travels, or just a visit from the grandchildren.

I also offer Mobility Training and Core + Breath Sessions specifically designed to build upon the gains made with Fascial Counterstrain.

  • No, these two services can be booked independently based on your needs and goals. If you already have a fitness routine that’s working for you, there’s no need to add more to it.

However, you’ll get the most long-lasting and transformative outcomes from pairing Fascial Counterstrain with some sort of strength and movement practice.

If you don’t have an exercise program in place or simply want to freshen up your workouts, check out the Mobility Training or the Core + Breath work. They’re hard! But they’re also a lot of fun.

    • Fascial Counterstrain: $150 for 60 minutes

  • I currently do not accept insurance in CA. I hope to be set up with VA/TriWest by the end of summer 2026. If your insurance covers benefits for out-of-network massage therapy, I can provide superbills that you can submit to your private insurance for partial reimbursement.

  • Tahoma is the Indigenous word for Mt. Rainier, the tallest peak in Washington State. (You’ve likely seen a variant spelling, Tacoma, which is a major city in Washington and a truck brand many people swear by.)

I was born and raised in Seattle and have a special place in my heart for what everyone there simple calls The Mountain. So a little nod to her satellite peak Little Tahoma seemed appropriate.
